Lucas Fixel is a drummer, composer, and music producer from Rio de Janeiro, with a degree in musical arrangement and a deep connection to Brazilian music. His work bridges improvisation and songcraft, blending tradition with innovation.
Currently, Lucas leads his original project, produces singer Juliane Gamboa, and teaches at the prestigious Global Music Institute in India. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Paco Charlín, Logan Richardson, Roman Filiu, Haroldo Mauro Jr., Cliff Korman, Edson Lobo, Romulo Fróes, Alma Thomas, and many others. In the studio, he has recorded with Victor Ribeiro, Rômulo Fróes, Tiago Rosas, Pablo Arruda, Juliane Gamboa and Bruno Repsold.
Lucas has performed at major international festivals, including LapaJazz (Brazil), PonteJazz (Spain), New Delhi Jazz Festival (India), Imaxinasons (Spain), and Feito a Man (Spain). His career encompasses performance, production, and education, always rooted in a profound connection to his musical heritage.
