Salon 10 presents Skyliner Pulse, an exciting new project by musicians Rafael Kalil on Cello and Lea Cheung on Guzheng with support from drummer Tony Sze.
Lea and Rafael are crafting a mesmerizing sonic journey where the ancient sounds of the Guzheng meet the rich tones of the cello, bridging the cultural divide between East and West. This captivating project was born out of a serendipitous collaboration during their 2025 Japan tour, where they found inspiration in the country's avant-garde music scene.
Their unique sound blends the haunting melodies of traditional Oriental music with the rhythmic pulse of Latin America and the experimental spirit of global music traditions. The result is a captivating fusion that transcends borders and genres, inviting listeners to embark on a sonic odyssey.
